Ok it's time to hold Chris Matthews accountable
for the bullshit that he is putting out there. "Hillary for VP in 2012" Matthews has been hating on the POTUS for a while now. Maybe if his ratings start going down they will take his ASS off the air.

1. So, it isn't OK for people to have opinions that differ from yours or mine?
Hmmm, interesting.

Sorry to tell you this, but message control doesn't work. People WILL say things you or me might not like.

3. Yesterday, his "Let me finish" segment was A+++
He equated the lies of the right wing regarding the ending of the tax cuts for the wealthy with their lies that got us in the war in Iraq. You would have cheered him - yesterday.

By now, TC, you ought to have picked up on how he blows hot and cold from day to day. Some days you can love what he says and then the next DUers are ready to tar and feather this ass. That's Tweety.

41. Totally agree
By the way, I missed the "Hillary for VP" today, it would have made me mad too. But as you say, that's Tweety, and IMHO the average is on the positive side.

9. Taking a stand is fine, as is expecting media pundits to offer up sound reasoning
But the charge that Matthews hates POTUS is a bit weird seems as how he often sings O's praises.

So you didn't like a recent opinion piece. It's gonna happen. Sorry, but that probably demonstrates some integrity on Matthew's part. If you agree with someone all the time, it's a good bet they are conning you.

or was he referencing an op-ed Doug Wilder wrote and talk that's already going on? Tweety is off his meds a lot but this time he was reporting what's already out there.

14. Why not?
She's a great candidate. Biden was good for 2008; Hillary just beefed up her foreign policy creds beyond measure, and now she's a massively strong VP candidate on the Obama-Clinton 2012 ticket. Biden will step aside to enjoy his retirement. This shit was obvious as of August 2008. It's gonna happen. I'd say we get the full word on that by this time next year.

Edited on Tue Aug-03-10 08:28 PM by Number23
Lots of people were torn between Hillary and Obama during 2008. Why do you say that Obama voters will be "turned off" by having Hillary on the ballot with Obama?

I proudly and enthusiastically voted for Obama in 2008 and I will do it again even moreso in 2012. Hillary as the VP won't bother me in the least. In fact, I'd support that.

I believe it was Gallup poll. If he keeps going lower, Hillary
will not be VP....she will be running in the primary in 2012 for PREZ.

I don't even watch MSNBC anymore. Wish they would give Tamron her own show. She would definitely add something that is missing to their primetime lineup. If not primetimne give her the 5pm slot.
