Being a Big Tent Democrat is not always an easy thing...

So many needs to be met.. so much damage has been done by previous administrations.. so many issues that should have been addressed have not.

It is not easy trying to do all at once.. its not.

Health Care Reform was really a very major issue for my family. My brother's needs to have access to health care had been denied previously by companies.. it was for us a possibility of life and death..He was not accessing the preventative care that he needed.


We are all working.. families out of work for months and having their unemployment debated incessantly while waiting for jobs to come back.. could be a matter of life and death for those families having to make choices that those of us employed do not.

Families with military members in harms way, sweat the life and possible harm to their loved one.. 24/7.. those of us who are not sharing that burden, do not have a clue of what they are suffering.

Families being denied the right to be a family completely can be a life and death situation.. and those of us not in that situation do not have a clue of how they feel.

The list goes on and on.

It is not always easy being a Big Tent Democrat.. everyone's needs, everyone's rights to full citizenship, they are all a priority. They all have to be addressed.

It is not easy..but it has to be done.
