This is ridiculous. Imagine what would happen to me and my sister. My mum was an immigrant who did marry an American when she got to the US (my daddy). But the way they're talking they want me to leave the nation---myself and my sister would not be Americans.. Who are these people? Republicans are assholes. Are they imploding yet?! These sorts of topics, are going to cost them every single minority in this nation.

I'm about to lose my citizenship (the way they are talking it's retroactive) and so will my sister because my mum was an immigrant. For fuck's sake!

I know they lost a good number of Hispanics (and a good portion of Haitians). But if they play this game---they will lose all Hispanics (and Haitians included). This is ludicrous.

This country was built on IMMIGRANTS and now these fuckheads are going to war with immigrants. This is affecting many people from the Caribbean and South America and Africa. They also say people on student visa's can get their citizenship. But I would lose mine. Ugh.

I truly hate Republicans now. I disliked them immensely but I hate them for this proposal. They ARE racist and prejudice assholes and this also goes to any Dem who supports this shit.

12. I here you vaberella. I wouldn't be in the US without my Great-Grandparents immigrating from Italy

into Ellis Island and then settling in New York City where they had my Grandfather. He moved to Connecticut from NYC, got married and my mom and aunt were born and the rest is history. I just looked up my Great-Grandpa's info on the Ellis Island website yesterday with my mother and we saw his ticket and the ship he came in on and everything. Immigrants are the United States....the Irish, the Italians, the Hispanics, the Asians. So many more from so many other countries came to this country in search of a better life. How far do they want to go back? Arlen Specter said the other day his parents were immigrants and was outraged!
