Watch Meek-Greene debate tonight
U.S. Senate candidates Kendrick Meek and Jeff Greene square off Tuesday in Orlando for their second debate of the Democratic primary campaign.
The debate is being sponsored by Leadership Florida and the Florida Press Association as part of a statewide project dubbed Decision 2010: Before You Vote.
Today’s debate will be taped in the studios of WKMG-TV Ch. 6, the CBS affiliate in Orlando. (It will air at 9PM.)
The Meek-Greene debate will be aired in 11 media markets throughout the state today. In Tampa Bay, the debate will be broadcast at 9 p.m. on WFTS-TV Ch. 28.
On Wednesday, GOP gubernatorial candidate Bill McCollum will take questions from reporters for 30 minutes. Organizers say Rick Scott, who was invited to debate, declined to participate.
