Indy Soldier Killed In Afghanistan
Here is tonight's reality! He went to our local high school! What have we gained by continuing to wage this senseless war? Nothing! The family and friends are left to mourn, while the rest of the motherfuckers in the Beltway play their stupid goddamned games. And some wonder why we are pissed!

Indy Soldier Killed In Afghanistan

Military: Insurgents Attacked Unit In Arghandab Valley

POSTED: 8:01 pm EDT August 12, 2010
UPDATED: 8:11 pm EDT August 12, 2010

INDIANAPOLIS -- An Indianapolis soldier was killed Wednesday when insurgents attacked his unit in Afghanistan, the military confirmed.

Sgt. Christopher N. Karch, 23, was killed in Arghandab Valley, Afghanistan, where he was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 508th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team of the 82nd Airborne Division out of Fort Bragg, N.C.

On Karch's Facebook page, his father, Pat Karch, told friends of his death.

"The Army sent two guys to inform me that Chris was in a fire fight and did not make it," he wrote Wednesday evening. "He was a great son … and I lost track of how many times I told him I was proud of him."

Chris Karch's grandfather, Norman Karch, told the Anderson Herald Bulletin that his grandson was serving his second tour of duty in Afghanistan and that he was 20 days from returning home.

Chris Karch graduated from Lawrence Central High School in 2005 and joined the Army immediately after. His Facebook page said he was taking classes at the University of Maryland-Baltimore.

3. Why is the MSM hush hush about casualties in Afghan war?
During Bush there was a news clip every day about soldiers killed in action.
Are the human beings being killed now cheaper in value than during Bush?
