The Obama's made a commitment to come back to the Gulf with their family if they are going to stay true to their commitment wouldn't they bring Malia? If it was true political theater they would have yanked Sasha from her summer camp, right?

His basis for saying this was that earlier the White House claimed that they didn't use the kids for political theater. So now in Joe's mind anytime the kids go along with anything its political theater.

Also, Joe's interview was conducted by Mika and I wonder if that didn't violate all sorts of journalistic rules, especially because she didn't challenge anything he said.

for their kids. They know the Obama's wouldn't endanger their kid's health. If the President and First Lady are willing to take their kids down to the gulf then it shows they have confidence that it is safe. If the POTUS & FLOTUS went without the kids then they would be saying it tells families it isn't safe for your kids - "he must know something they aren't telling us such as test results showing how harmful the water is in the GOM".

Republicans are excellent in framing issues so they are lose-lose for Dems. They do it on everything and it is easy for them because they have no shame about spouting two completely contradictory arguments within 30 seconds of each other.

23. I read something a while back where there were complaints that

MSNBC didn't have anything conservative, so they found this stooge to take an am show.

There are times when there is content on that show, but the thing is, Scarborough decides he's being beaten, (not very hard to do, Mika's father ate him alive, calling him "shallow" and ignorant), he runs off to something completely irrelevant, typical bully behavior. (Limbaugh does the same thing, he has a 27 second delay and you can tell when he's been bested, the caller suddenly "disappears and Limbaugh goes on a rant for the remainder of the time until it feels like he is in control again).

The only one on the show that is dumber than Scarborough is Pat Buchanan...:D

and Joe is definitely a classic bully. Mika is clearly intimidated by him. When he had a prime time show, he acted relatively civil, but evidently when it is early morning, he lets it all hang out.
