Can you tell us a little about it?
I always love learning new Newspeak words.

4. The talking heads have introduced this newspeak word as a condensation of ...

.. "the appearance of xxxxx". It could be the "optics" a conflict of interest, or the "optics" of an event. Or the "optics" of their own pre and re-spin.

It's the media reporting (spinning) what they project as the spin the public will extract from their report (spin).

I try to look at the form of their presentation, as well as the sponsors who bring this horseshit to us, as it relates to the content.
