Sometimes the media, who has polled on other First Ladies, takes shit too far. This practice should stop, and stop now.

have traditionally been polled as favorable or unfavorable. Nancy was, Barbara was, Hillary was, and Laura was. I'm not sure when they started tracking the favorability of first ladies, but it's been going on for a while.

Some people try to read too far into them, but the only people who really pay attention to them are typically the opposition base.

During an election the campaigns will have internal polling on the spouse. It helps the campaigns decide to send who where.
