(after the Nancy Pelosi, Howard Dean statements today...)
The weasel wording born of a fear, the fear of actually taking the constitutional position on the Muslim Cultural Center in Manhattan --the weaseling is just embarrassing.
Like it or not Republicans are making Democrats own this decision --the only way out is not to wiggle and finesse, it's to either:
1) Flat out oppose the mosque, Republican style --at least Reid took a solid position 2) Support The Constitution and not word that support like you are afraid of offending some ignorant fool in the middle of the spectrum who isn't really sure if the Bill of Rights is a good idea
Sheesh, don't you people understand that everyone smells fear and the smell from the leadership is stank?
Take a damned position that includes, "I don't tell people where to put their churches, temples or mosques --that's the American way. If you don't like it, take it up with Thomas Jefferson, bye."
I hate when the Republicans call Democrats wimps, but I hate it more when our leadership proves them right.
I'm not asking you to adopt my policies or agenda, I'm asking you to act f-ing proud of adopting a strong agenda of any sort! Criminy.
