I saw Brad Pitt on CNN
The guy's 46 but looks about 29, lives with a gorgeous woman, and is a multimilionaire.

Life is not fair.

3. If I were him, I would do that too...
That doesn't mean I can't be achingly jealous of him and his perfect hair and skin. Sigh.

4. Yeah, I get that. Maybe the fact that he's a good guy will help ease your pain!
:hi:

Oh, and he gives away a third of his earnings every year. Yep. He's that cool.

5. So I can't even hate him...

Did I say already that life's not fair?

What I don't understand is that he is apparently a fan of Ayn Rand. It just doesn't gibe with everything else.

He uses his celebrity status to get good things done.

Not many like that.

21. Would like to see them do a one-on-one on the basketball courts?
Obama is taller, he wins... but I'd vote for Brad Pitt in 2016 if he wants to run.

8. That gorgeous woman is an Ayn Rand disciple. I do admire .............
the work that Brad is doing in New Orleans. I saw the homes he was building on Meet the Press this morning.

I often wonder what he thinks about Angelina's political views.

9. Doesn't make sense that she's into Rand, either
Considering that she does a lot of charity work too.

10. One of the things that Rand states is that charity should not be ..............
done by government. Rand argued that private corporations and individuals with means could provide charitable services of higher quality and less expense.

On the other hand, I don't think Angelina is smart enough to understand Rand. Although, I don't think Rand was smart enough to understand human nature, or maybe she was smart enough to know a sucker when she saw one.

13. Incorrect. Rand views charity as a fundamentally immoral.

15. That's not quite what Rand said. She didn't say charity is fundamentally imoral, she said .........
"I do not consider it a major virtue and, above all, I do not consider it a moral duty. There is nothing wrong in helping other people, if and when they are worthy of the help and you can afford to help them. I regard charity as a marginal issue. What I am fighting is the idea that charity is a moral duty and a primary virtue."

Basically, her view is that only people deemed worthy of charity should be allowed receive it. This is what always made Rand fundamentally flawed. I bet that if Rand would have ever found herself unemployed and broke that she would have felt entitled to be first in line for unemployment insurance. Everyone is entitled to compassion and the only shame in asking for and receiving help from others is the stigma that we as a society attach to it due to people like Rand.

20. One comment
about Ayn Rand having an "interesting philosophy" and expressing a willingness to star in the movie, does not make one a disciple.

about relationship problems? Then he puts Angelina on and I have to say hi to all the kids. Look; I have to work in the morning.
