Fox News is demanding that he bow to their wishes and credit Bush.
Will he give Bush any credit?

1. Bush and Cheney should be defendants at The Hague |
|
The invasion of Iraq was a war of aggression and a crime against humanity.
A Socialist government would have put Bush & Co behind bars, right alongside the bankers and financiers responsible for the Great Recession.

12. That is NOT "mission accomplished." And he has also said even though combat operations are |
|
officially over in Iraq, there will still be much more hardships to go through, there will most likely be more deaths of our troops, etc. He has specifically said this will NOT be a "mission accomplished" moment.

14. Great response. If you're watching his address right now, he said almost exactly |
|
what I SAID he'd say. Violence will continue... to your "comprehensive" and "intelligent" response.

Bush loved them so much that he got over 4,000 of them killed in Iraq.

19. Saying that Bush loves our troops is a far cry from saying either "missioned accomplished" |
|
or putting on a "dog and pony show" or giving him credit for the surge (which the Repubs. wanted to hear). You left out the part where he said that he disagreed with Bush in going to Iraq in the first place. Nice try, though.

8. I just heard a clip of Boner on 960Green here in SF. |
|
Boner said Pres Obama should not get a political victory out of leaving Iraq and that he was just keeping a campaign promise and not being mindful of events on the ground.
High-larious sniveling from The Orange One.

|
Edited on Tue Aug-31-10 07:37 PM by jenmito
say anything nice about him (while also saying he disagreed with Bush for going into Iraq in the first place). He did NOT credit Bush for winning the war. And Rachel didn't say he DID.
