3. Hard to cheer on Cuomo. And let's see what happens in NYS Senate
before we get too excited.

I never want to see Rs in office, but the union-bashing Cuomo is not someone I can get excited about. However, he's as close to a lock as one sees in politics. I do wonder if the slight gains Ds made Upstate in the NYS Senate will hold after the spectacle the Ds have made over the past term?

I have little doubt that Schumer and Gillibrand are quite safe.

4. Share your feelings on Cuomo
He isn't Mario that's for sure.
I'm upstate and the enthusiasm is real low. Having the dems actually come out and vote is what got us the seats, this time I don't know. We have Murphy going against Gibson. Gibson may be too right, tea party-ish for this area and that may save Murphy's ass. The GOTV efforts will determine the outcome.
