Ed is firmly on our side. He's only being realistic. Reed could lose. If he can't beat Angle it's a sad damn day in this country. Dems have got to learn how to fight harder & get their message out.

All those liberals on MSNBC are. They were throughout 2008 and they are today.
I still remember Rachel Maddow asking everyone to talk her down because she was convinced McCain would beat Obama.
It's not an indictment on their ideology - but it is an indictment on their thought.
I am sick and tired of doomsday scenarios.

2. Angle is just too crazy, I really can't see her getting elected. |
|
But, I'm surprised she's made it as far as she has. Reid could have done a better job, he's been pretty weak.

"Probably" strikes me as a bit much. Reid's in real trouble, but it isn't over yet.

8. Ed was just making a point. When you deal with the Teabaggers or Evangelicals... |
|
.. they do not deal in facts or issues. They deal in emotions ..sound bites and talking points.
None of the people at Beck's Rally last weekend could verbalize why they were there. The only thing they could say was, "We are taking back America".
Taking back America from what? From whom? What would you change or do different? (crickets)
Ed was making the point that people of the Sharon Angle or Sarah Palin mindset, will vote simply as Faux News tells them to.. no thought or reason attached.

Raw emotion will probably push Angle over Reid. Throw in the typical rethuglican vote stealing and she's just about a lock.
Two real issues feeding the out of control panic of the electorate:
1) Unemployment in NV broke records again in August at an official 14.3%;
2) "Nevada kept its No. 1 national ranking for foreclosure filings for the 43rd consecutive month...Nevada had one filing for every 82 households"
Desperate, panic stricken people will grasp at any straw and vote for any perceived change, no matter how terrible or how slight.

|
Yes Angle is crazy but people really dislike Reid. Some people would vote for a head of cabbage as long as it was in opposition of Reid.

He certainly isn't helping here, that is for damn sure.

|
...not just batshit crazy, but clinically around the frickin' bend say g'night Gracie out of her frickin' tree nutsy cuckoo...
If that persona can beat Harry Reid then the game is up and we'd better start heading for the hills..
