Okay DU.. I have a question about immigration..and attacks on the President

If illegal immigration has dropped for the first time in 20 years.. and the administration has beefed up the border patrols by thousands.. what will people like McCain and that nut job Arizona governor (I do not know if she is running for office this year) run on in November..

In Iowa we have people like Steve King.. etc.. I will be more than a little interested to see what their responses are.

just as they have been...it's already been reported for months of the increased border security and the dropping rate of immigrants since Obama took control...they just kept lying.

What democrats need to do is get the facts out on TV, flyers, phone calls, and on the internet. Use the facts during debates and challenge the republicans to deny the facts. Give the people sources to check out the facts. I know for the crazies on the right it won't matter, but facts do matter to a lot of voters, the independents, and even moderate republicans that may already be upset with their party. Take the immigration problem off the table by showing the public the republicans are simply lying for political gain!

Apparently the violence in Mexico is keeping people from travelling through there and up into the US. The 72 bodies found in Mexico were all Illegal immigrants into Mexico. The drug cartels are kidnapping these immigrants and holding them for ransom.

The security situation in Mexico is out of control.
