(PPP poll)Maine Rep’s Pingree(D), Michaud(D) Favored for Re-election
Raleigh, N.C. – Both Chellie Pingree and Mike Michaud have high single-digit leads
against their Republican opponents for another term representing Maine in the U.S.
House, but both are also under 50%. And while Pingree is nearly matching her 2008
showing for her first and current term, Michaud is vastly underperforming in the more
Republican of the two districts.

1. Good news. Hopefully the next two months
will see Dems making gains.

2. Sorry... No. It isn't good news at all.
Don't get me wrong. I'm pretty sure that we win both of these races...

... But if you asked a professional to list the 100 most endangered Democrats - neither of these seats would have been on the list. To have either of them even marginally competitive (which is what this poll says), is shocking - even this year.
