6. Wow-the writer quoted what Chuck Todd said about Obama's answer, just like I did...

and I remember you asking me if I had a link for it and I said I didn't, because I just paused my TV and copied it. I'm glad I wasn't the only one impressed with Chuck's comments.

But later, on Hardball, after Chris played only the first part of Obama's response, Mark Halperin said HE thought Obama was too weak on his response to the question. This is the only part Chris showed:

"I think I've been pretty clear on my position here. And that is, is that this country stands for the proposition that all men and women are created equal, that they have certain inalienable rights; one of those inalienable rights is to practice their religion freely. And what that means is that if you could build a church on a site, you could build a synagogue on a site, if you could build a Hindu temple on a site, then you should be able to build a mosque on the site." :eyes:

12. I KNOW! Here's his quote:

"I would say he was most passionate, frankly, at the end, when he made a case for the right for religious freedom and for the rights of Muslim-Americans to have the same rights as everybody else in this country. The passion he showed there was probably greater than he answered on any other question. And frankly, it's interesting. He mixed it-it was sort of passionate and it was mixed in with patriotism in a way that, I think, even some of his critics on this issue will say it was a very eloquent answer, to say the least."

13. Thank you, jenmito!~ And, to me it wasn't just

about Muslims..it was about all of us being "Just Us".. it was a very passionate patriotic call to the whole country and I was thinking how happy the Muslm Americans must be after hearing this from President Obama..I know I was.

8. I wondered about this..I just got through seeing a

replay of this for the first time and saw where the comments would be coming up from callers next.

I was so sleepy from a rough week and long day but, I hung in there 'cause I was loving all the answers he was flying back to the questions that wanted so hard to pin failure on the Obama Admin..some of it was really ludicrous and he just calming blew the snark away and turned it into Gold!
