I thought the one this morning was supposed to be tonight.

1. I don't think o. Not only does a Prez ever do 2 in one day,
but this is Friday & all those reporters wouldn't work Fri night unless it was an emergency!

2. Seems to me that Nixon, Ford and Carter had prime-time press conferences.

Johnson too, possibly, IIRC.

There'd be an obvious reason for various prezzes to avoid having them...it's easier to contain mistatements or mistakes if the press conference isn't broadcast live.
