MSNBC's Contessa Brewer not prepared to respond on whether Social Security is solvent! Priceless!

That's not something we usually discuss, she says! :shrug:

Thomas Geoghegan, prominent labor lawyer, is on MSNBC saying Democrats need to do something for their base to get them out to vote since health care wasn't going to do it.

He pointed Social Security is not insolvent (sadly, it was obviously news to Contessa) and recommended increasing Social Security benefits to replace more than the current 40% of income it replaces in this country--which is well below what other industrialized countries do for their workers, by the way. What a surprise! :sarcasm:

He also recommends removing the cap on wages to pay for it.

2. Geoghegan should had pointed out Contessa could pay Social Security tax

on all of her income instead of just the first $106,800.

3. Contessa is out of her league

She seems like a perfectly nice woman she is just profoundly unintelligent, boring, and useless. How she has her own show is beyond me.
