** Delaware Primary (and everywhere else) Watch Thread **
Edited on Tue Sep-14-10 07:53 PM by Clio the Leo
With 1/3rd of the votes in .... the Palin endorsed O'Donnell up by over 10pts over Rep. Mike Castle (who's been in office since '66!)!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A win by her tonight would almost GUARANTEE a the Democrat (Coons) a victory in November and it would be VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE for the GOP to take the Senate!!!

So join with me in shouting ......... COME ON MAMA GRIZZLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol

3. Plus
The early vote In NH may see the more extreme type get the nomination helping Paul Hodges pick up the open seat which would be a
pickup.

23. There are half a dozen or so Republican seats Democrats can take.
KY, MO, OH, NH, AK, NC.

Winning 3 or 4 of those will make up for likely Democratic losses. If Delaware is back in the Democratic column then it becomes much easier to increase the majority.

37. One thing that Keith and Tweety aren't factoring in...
.... in the middle of all their gloom and doom .... their argument (that some moderates and some women would support O'Donnell because she was female and non-incumbent) doesn't quite wash.

Just because WE had never heard of her before this week, doesn't mean the people of DE haven't ..... she's apparently a perpetual candidate ... one of those who always runs without any chance of winning.

.... and then Sarah Palin came along. lol

YOUR post: "Castle primary voters supports Coons over O'Donnell 44-28 in general election." Castle only lost by a little over 3,000 votes, getting about 27,000 votes, 44% of which will go to Coons!
