Pass any HCR that can pass ASAP!
Edited on Tue Dec-08-09 01:34 PM by Kurt_and_Hunter
Just pass something already!

Not for the political sake of appearing effective, but simply because the thing keeps shrinking every day it lays out there.

At this point it feels like DEAL OR NO DEAL... None of the remaining briefcases have a good healthcare plan in them. Take the money!

In another week or two it might be down to, "Dig your own grave and save!" (That was a Troy McClure infomercial from the Simpsons.)

a perfect way of putting it.

5. I would've rather Obama lost fighting, than lost sucking his thumb. I wanted
him to threaten a few democrats. Didn't happen. I wanted him to push strongly for a public option, didn't happen. Now there looks like it will be a mandate, w/ no public option. And he expects people to vote for him next time? I can't bring myself to vote for a republican, but I'll definitely probably stay home come Nov2012.
