president's used to do this all the time, whether it's successful or not is debatable. Should the DNC purchase 15-minutes on election-eve for an Obama address in which he spells out what a GOP congress will mean and urge Dems and like-minded indies to get out to vote?
Plus Obama still is the most popular politician in the country with approval ratings between 45-50 percent--might he be able to convince wavering dems to go to the polls?
or
Will an election eve appeal by the president only energize the opposition more?

1. We might have half the citizens of Texas vote early. |
|
Those that cast votes have a three week window in which to vote at their leisure. We can vote at any library where I live. Doesn't have to be the designated polling place.
So I have noticed a different strategy in advertisments.

2. As long as it's a paid ad, yes. |
|
But not a speech from the Oval.
