The media needed and wanted an Octomom/Balloon Boy of politics to hold the attention of the dumbed-down public.

They gave us Palin. She has all of the drama of a reality show and it's never ending.

The big hair of Jersey housewives, the backstabbing of big brother, the greedy Survivor personality to do whatever it takes to win a million. The dysfunctional family: an unwed teen daughter, a son who cuts school bus brakelines, causing schools to shut down, a daughter caught vandalizing. Much worse than Kate plus eight.

Look what the media has foisted upon America. It is a sad time in our history.

Here we have Lohan, who isn't bothering anyone or claiming to be a saint, and they bash her endlessly.

Then we have Palin, who claims to be a Christian, attacks everyone , and constantly tries to deceive to gain money, and the media ignores her obvious lies.

5. Politics has become entertainment and spectator sport all in one.

For those who don't feel Government has an impact in their lives maybe it makes sense to not care. But the rest of us who do understand are stuck with their crappy decision making.

7. yes, all those things you cite about her and her kids are true but.....

are they brought to light on the TV that you watch? Not mine.
There is so, so much MORE dirt on her, but the only place I read about it is on the blogs.
The one journalist who exposed her in Vanity Fair was called out by Ms. wolfKiller as limp and impotent.
Why she gets away with her lies and bullshit is beyond me.
