Tell Congress to Continue Federal Unemployment Benefits

In two weeks, Congress will return for a post-election session just as 2 million unemployed job-seekers face a cut off of federally-funded unemployment insurance in December -- unless Congress acts. And, unless Congress acts, millions more would lose these benefits after the New Year.

That's because the expanded federal jobless benefits program is up against an expiration deadline on Nov. 30 -- just days after Thanksgiving, as the Holiday season begins.

There is little time to build the level of support needed to make sure our voices are heard when Congress reconvenes. That's why we must act NOW - before Congress returns.
