Several packages were found on cargo airlines, freight packages which went unchecked because the political wing of the Tea Party continually blocked legislation that would have increased checking of freight sent by air.

The packages were found because the Security Services of the United Kingdom and the United States of America worked together and most importantly ACTED on that information.

If they had failed, that terror loving spawn of the literally heartless un-dead former Vice President would have been all over the news crowing about it.

This is what happens when a President works with his security team.

We know what happens when a President fails to do anything with advice from Security Services.

11. Some ignorant DJ was saying this morning that

it was "suspicious" that this was going on now. And he said that the "bush administration quietly handled numerous real threats". The discussion then went on to pretty much claim that these packages were nothing but a ploy to make Obama/Democrats look good so people would vote for them.

I was screaming at my radio by that point!
