Dr. Dean was looking FINE tonight.
Wow. He almost looks like he's running for office. Buff, polished, smart as a whip. The whole deal.

1. Well, he called tomorrow's likely result more than a year ago
"We all voted for change we can believe in. If we don't get it, we'll get some more change in 2010"
- Howard Dean

Perhaps Dr. Dean feels he may be pulled back out from under the bus, and that makes him happy.

25. "Parties that don't use their majorities, lose their majorities"
and:

"People didn't elect Democrats to pass crap legislation."

2. He needs a job...
And may I suggest: White House Chief of Staff. Don't know if he'll want it but Barack sure needs a junk yard dog in that position!

3. I was thinking he looked like a primary challenge in 2012.
If we don't get the change he talked about, that is.

5. I think Howard Dean is too much of a grown-up to challenge a viable Dem president.

7. I have no interest in moving right
so that disqualifies Dean from my consideration.

4. Obama HAD a junkyard dog as chief of staff, and DUers screamed bloody murder about him....
... and cheered when he was gone.

6. He was NOT what was needed!
Rahm Emanuel was certainly not change that we (or anyone) could believe in. He was selling out the Prexy's agenda every time he had a chance. Rahm is no progressive and I contacted the White House on many occasions calling for his ouster. Rahm was a DINO - period. He was not at all effective and too willing to work with the wing nuts. Instead of telling the "Blue Dogs" where to shove it, he kept patting them on the back and bowing to their agenda instead.

Good riddance to Rahm! Barack needs someone who will fight for him.

11. +1000
Would love to see Dr.Dean as White House Chief of Staff. He would do an amazing job, he's not afraid to say what he thinks and he has accomplished a lot. He'd be a welcomed addition!

24. A rabid dog that bit its owners
A well trained attack dog that can readily discern friend from foe is what is needed.

26. Except that the idiot only went after his own constituencies!
And now he's had a major hand in BOTH of the Democrats' worst electoral disasters in modern history!

Now THAT'S a heck of a job!

17. Do you know what a kick is?
Because they actually work more in favor of a thread than a silly little unrec and especially better than a "not even going to dignify it with unrec".

I'm not saying it's worth being on the greatest page but you haven't done anything but bump this to the top with your stupid comment. Why don't you elucidate why this is a stupid thread. Oh, wait, that would kick it.

I'm amused.

23. Yum, if I had known him then, I would've been all over him like a cheap suit
The good doctor is two years older than me, to the day (November 17). I still say, he's the cutest 62 year old I've ever seen.
