4. That's okay. I get two votes.
On the way to the polls my husband had his sample ballot in hand ready to go with a pen. "Okay, honey, who are we voting for?" He just votes the way I tell him to. LOL!

8. It's sad but that's the way my wife is too
I fill out both of our sample ballots and give it to her to take with her to vote with.

She has no interest in politics. Her only priorities are posting and playing games on Facebook all day and pretending she's a "Ghost Hunter" on the weekends.

Even when Obama was confirmed as the democratic nominee she said, "Who is that?"

True story.

17. Have to have a really, really good reason to vote absentee in CT.
I voted that way when I was in college as I wasn't going to make it home on time to vote after classes.

10. Yikes!
My husband isn't that apathetic. He's just learned over the past 21 years that we have similar ways of viewing the world and therefore trusts my political judgment.

14. It gets pretty embarrassing when we're around others...
...who pay attention to things and she tries to fit in by saying some really stupid stuff. Great person, hard worker, but totally clueless about politics or any other current events.

So in case you've ever wondered if those "man in the street" clips you see on TV or hear on the radio are staged, believe me there really are people, even middle-aged adults, who have no clue who Joe Biden is.

13. I asked my brothers-in-law to please vote for Boccieri
Edited on Tue Nov-02-10 01:11 PM by OhioBlue
they said ok. who else?

I've worked on 'em for 6 years. They don't want to read or watch the news. They want to watch sports and sports shows. So they just ask me to keep them updated. They're the easiest & the best.

Edit to add: I feed 'em too.

right about now.
