While All Races Are Important...OHIO Is the State To Watch...I Promise I Am Very Optimistic-GO OHIO!
Kentucky results suck, Indiana while it really wasn't a surprise it sucks as well, I am very optimistic that my fellow buckeyes realize that the Republican candidates are worse than the Dem Incumbents because most have been in Washington or Wall Street for 30 plus years while the Democratic Candidates have been here in Ohio fighting for Ohio families like mine!!!

Im still holding my breath, I really like to pick up the OH Senate Seat and god forbid if Republican Jon Husted wins the SOS Office here in Ohio we will never see a fair election again. He has vowed to end early voting cuz it favors Democratic Candidates. He is going to redistrict the entire state to favor Republican candidates, he is only running bcuz the current OH SOS filed charges against him for falsifying his address so he can run for Congress in the Kettering District, yet after investigation it was factually determined that while he still owns the house, he nor his family have lived in that house in over 5 years. I cannot believe the MSM has not picked up on this story.

I would even argue that the OH SOS race is one of the most important races in the state or the country for that matter because if Husted is elected in 2012 Ohio will be the Florida of 2000 I can guarantee you that. In fact bookmark this page for records in case he would win jus to show that unfortunately Ohio will not have a fair election in the near future!

I would have to say I truly believe Ohio is THE MOST IMPORTANT STATE IN THESE MIDTERMS ELECTION in my humble opinion! Please keep an eye on this race and if any of my fellow buckeye voters experienced any problems please report them immediately and post them on DU for our information!!!

Go All Democratic Candidates all over the state of Ohio as well as all over the entire United States!!!!

Im Fired Up...How Bout You?

Incumbent Gov Ted Strickland Against Wall Street Elite John Kasich

Open US Senate Seat Democratic Candidate & Current LT GOV Lee Fisher versus Washington Elite Rob Porteman!MSNBC Projected Portman will win that seat, what a disappointment.

Attorney General Incumbent Democratic Candidate Richard Cordray Versus Republican Former Senator Who Sherrod Brown & Ohioans kicked out by a wide margin in 2006 Mike Dewiner who has promised to join the frivoulous lawsuit against the healthcare bill and when I put him on the spot about the question he told me that he believes we need healthcare reform but President Obamas Healthcare bill is unconstitutional yet he refused to debate the AG Cordray on Constitutionality of the bill 3 different times.

As well as man other important races!

Jus Keep Faith!

1. If OH and WA do well...
Well, that is the most I could hope for. If NV and NM do well, that would be a plus (lived in those states for awhile). I lived in Utah, too, but fuck it. I know where that one is going.

3. Winning Gov of Ohio may, I hate to say it, be more important than having won the Senate race in Ohio
because of redistricting.

5. what got me was this ...
The post of Portman winning the Senate seat went out at 7:33pm - THREE F*CKING MINUTES AFTER THE POLLS CLOSED ...

Now, how reliable would those numbers be??? Three f*cking minutes to tally a statewide race ...

7. I live in one of the most Repub counties in OH & could not believe the Stirckland signs here!
There were hundreds of them around here! A lot of people who are teachers and firemen and cops were totally out there for Strickland! We voted this morning at 11 am and it was busy even then! I pray Ohio will come through again! Ed Shultz just said "It's Ohio after all" when he was talking about how important Ohio is in this election! It is always Ohio and Florida and you never know until its over! Go Strickland! :applause:

8. Although it's really early, just saw on MSNBC.com that...
Edited on Tue Nov-02-10 06:56 PM by tex-wyo-dem
with 1% reporting:

Lee Fisher 53% 13,578

Rob Portman 44% 11,201

Interestingly, MSNBC has a check-mark by Portman, which I guess means "favored"?

On edit: whoops, just saw the check means projected winner
