3. It'll be about a year. That way it'll be fresh red meat for the next election.

5. I don't think they will be able to control their urges.
I predict it will be the first thing out of the tan man's mouth, besides cigarette smoke.

7. Two weeks. Tops.
Though preferably the Democrat base will do the job themselves and make Obama is not running for re-election. The GOP isn't the one that needs a massive revolution. It's us. And we have to get rid of all of the New Dems/DLC/Blue Dog guys, every last one of them. And that includes the President, who I am sorry to say, can officially call his presidency dead. Boehner won't let him get anything passed, and the base is bordering on open revolt. Ed Rendell, Howard Dean and a variety of others will seek to take advantage of that.

8. It will be a tug of war amongst Repubs. The American people want to see things get done.
Impeachment proceeding isn't at the top of the agenda of the American people.

10. Probably won't wait that long.
We ought to send emails to the president telling him that we predict that it will only be a couple of months before he will have to start defending himself and he won't have time for all the bi-partisanship he loves.

11. We need to stop the "perjury traps" with legislation in the lame duck house before they start!
Make sure it is clear that they still allow for lawful prosecution of illegal acts, but no fishing expeditions just designed to get someone to "lie" on the stand about personal business, etc.

16. I don't think it will happen
The Dems kept the Senate, so they know they won't be able to remove Obama. Really no point in impeachment.

18. Same thing applied to Clinton and they impeached HIM. The point
isn't to remove - the point is to CRIPPLE, and then to have impeachment in the history books to tarnish his reputation.

19. What phony grounds do you think they'll come up with, kestrel91316?
It's not going to be easy for them to find anything that will pass muster as a high crime or misdemeanor IMO.
