Winnebago County Fails to Come through for Brady: Quinn still Leads in IL
Only 2% of Cook County precincts remain outstanding statewide, and Quinn holds an 8,000 vote lead. Indeed, in the 28% of Winnebago County and 1% of Cook county precincts submitted since the last update, Brady only gained on Quinn by 500 votes - a good sign, as he won Winnebago County 56% to Quinn's 35%.

We are, to be sure, well into recount territory. What 2% of Cook County precincts are yet to report?

Surprised as hell that Quinn is making it where Giannoulias didn't (though, for sure, Hoffman would have been the better bet).

1. Quinn is going to be our firewall against
having coast to coast Rethug governors. Everyone expected Strickland to be the one.
