The majority of people didn't turn out this year just an older conservative white crowd. Still things aren't as bad as they seem. The fundamentals of Obama's coalition are still strong. Even in places where we lost, it wasn't really a blow out in some cases it was a matter of a few hundred votes. In my own district the black vote came out and pushed our congressman over the finish line. We beat the repub for the house seat in Lousiana. In Nevada the hispanic vote put Harry Reid over the top. The young people turned out for Obama all over the country but it just wasn't as big as 2008. I still think we'll be able to keep the White House in 2012. We just have to take a step back and plan our comeback. Our ground game is good but we just have to do a little better that's all.

1. Shouldn't we organize and do something about this media.....
because fighting against them is like fighting against a tsunami coming at you while you are in bed in your underwear.

2. Yeah and Obama should allow us to have more shady dem groups to attack repubs
that's part of the reason they won. They had outside help. I say it's time we get some ourselves. If we win that way then the repubs will be more willing to regulate campaign financing.

3. Do we really need his permission?
See, I don't know if we do.

5. Well he's the one who didn't want us to get into bed with these shadow groups but now we won't
really have a choice. It's either do this or lose. We're going to lose donors to the DCCC. We've got to try something. Obama wanted to push back citizens united but he's going to lose the house so we have to do something to stay compeditive.

4. After a couple of days to recover, we must start working on 2012 - I
guarantee the GOP has already started.

6. The key word in your post is "working" - something that very few beyond Grayson, Dean,
and Kucinich do. When a Republican hands a Democrat a bowl of shit and says it's chocolate ice cream, the Dem SHOULD say, "Oh yeah? You eat first; kick him in the nuts and shove it down his throat, while letting the media know what was attempted. What do most Dems really do? They say, "Okay, can I have some whipped cream with that sir?"
