The economy may improve some but not enough in the Rust Belt and I expect WI, MI, OH, PA to be in play. A year before the Chimp's recorination, the media said he'd blow out the Dem. Southern states with large transplants from the Midwest, Rust Belt and Northeast will come into play like NC, FL, and maybe Georgia.

1. I think we'll get Fl and most of the rust belt. GA is going to be compeditive.
The black vote is still there and loyal. So is the Latino vote.

5. By compeditive I mean it'll be a difference of 10% or so. Don't underestimate the power of the black
turnout.

6. If The Economy Doesn't Improve
Edited on Wed Nov-03-10 11:29 AM by DemocratSinceBirth
If the economy doesn't improve Florida will vote as it did in 1980, the last time a Democratic president presiding over a crappy economy was running, as will most of the nation.

President Obama's fate is inextricably linked to the fate of the of the economy. Any other analysis is beyond flawed.
