Alabama state government is now totally repug, from the top down.
Not one single Dem elected to state office.
And not one single Dem elected to county office where I live.
KAY-RAP!

A tax evader for governor. I never want to hear another puker bitch about some official not paying their taxes properly, ever. They with get an earful from me.

Ard's campaign manager is expected to turn himself in to sled today. They have 6 warrants for his arrest for violating the robo call law.

I don't think I voted for a winner in a contested election either. I don't count voting to retain judges or non-partisan races. I did vote for a bunch of winning amendments.

13. Not ONE I Voted For Won Either & I Think This State Is One CORRUPT MACHINE!
Welcome, Jebby et al... he and his MACHINE will grind this state up! If I could move to Vermont, snow and all, I'd be headed there.

BUT I'M STUCK HERE! And I'm stuck with even more corruption than there ever was. TWO Tea-Baggers who are so corrupt I fell like Linda Blair and my head is really spinning!

Guess we'll just have to take what's going to be shoved down our gullets!

Of course, with 5 & 6 I don't see the arrogant Republican led legislature caring what the people said. They will draw their bizarre gerrymandered districts and dare some one to challenge it.

paper yet, so do you know what Amendments passed? How close is it between Scott & Sink. Sink was the ONE I felt had a chance! HOW this state could elect the likes of Scott is just way beyond my comprehension. I mean he's even more corrupt than my Congressional Rep., Vern Buchanan. And Buchanan had had so many lawsuits filed against him I've lost count!

it's a college town. So, my state senator won and my state rep (who's a 24 year old woman) also won. Other than that, the Democrats totally fucked up the Oklahoma races they were in that I voted for. Last time I ever vote for candidates I don't truly support.

20. That's my voting history in a nutshell
Occasionally I get to vote for a winner for President or governor, but I've never lived anywhere that elected a Democrat to either house of Congress, or for that matter, the state legislature.

Depressing as heck, and yet I keep on voting knowing my vote won't make any difference.

57. When I moved here, umpteen years ago, the state was mostly
publican,so this seems normal to me. This state just attracts a more conservative population than Colorado or N.M. or Calif. Self- selection for in-migration. As for the props, I guess most of us AZ DU'ers voted pretty much the same way. And there, we didn't do too badly, except for the union prop which was deceptively worded and sold.

I know first hand how tough it is being an outspoken progressive in the South. It's a hell of a lot easier for those of us who live on the Blue Coasts to be liberal.

Show me a Southern Liberal (I'm a transplanted one myself) and I'll know there's a fighter that who is made of steel.

Keep the faith. We are all only one keystroke away from our community, huh?

The person in my district I voted for got crushed as well.

I've a clear conscience though. I did all I could to prevent Republicans from being elected.

Much of what happened on Nov 2 was a result of older voters turning out and many younger people staying home.
