1. Because they would have been accused of using tax payer money to buy votes.
waiting until after the election is over is appropriate.

2. So The Repugs Could Claim That It Was Them That Turned The Economy.....
around because they are in control again. The same reason why corporate america has sat on 1 trillion in cash and not put it back into hiring. The same reason why Wall Street was up yesterday. The same reason why foreign money has been pouring in through the conduit of the U.S.Chamber of Commerce. The same reason why insurance companies, big pharma and the whole of oil based energy conglomerate has done everything in their power to make Obama and the Dems look bad. The same reason why the tax breaks for the rich will be extended.

Now they again have their hands in the pot again. All bets are on less regulations, backing off a lot of HCR, increasing the retirement age, privatizing Social Security and making it difficult for the Obama administration to govern.

Basically we are screwed - because all of corporate america and the rich are back on easy street.

Sleep well!!!!!!!

4. They haven't waited at all
The Fed has been pouring money into the economy non-stop since fall of 2007. It simply isn't doing what the economic theorists hoped it would do. Kind of like trying to bail out a sinking boat without first patching the holes. The Fed is funneling the money to big banks which are sitting on it or simply playing with it in the commodity and stock markets, or using it to buy T-Bills.
