Feingold not challenging Obama in 2012, spokesman says
http://www.politico.com/blogs/bensmith/1110/Feingold_wont_challenge_Obama_in_12.html?showall

Defeated Wisconsin Senator Russ Feingold, who considered a White House bid in 2008 and would be the most plausible candidate on Obama's left flank, has "no interest" in such a challenge, his spokesman said today.

"While a lot of other Democrats ran away from their support for the Recovery Act and health insurance reform, Russ Feingold didn't, he stood by those votes and President Obama's effort to do the right thing," said spokesman John Kraus in an email. "I would chalk up any Beltway chatter about Russ running against President Obama as simply Washington getting wee-wee'd up on the first day of new election cycle that is two years away."

Feingold "has no interest in challenging President Obama in 2012," Kraus said.

15. Look, I am broken today. Tore to bits. Driven to tears.
My spirit is officially broken. I just cannot give a shit at the moment. Wisconsin got fucked. And we lost Russ. That literally brings me to tears. If a man like Feingold can lose to THAT FUCKING MORON...THAT goddamned idiot - I give up giving a shit.

At least for a bit.

I need to heal.

19. Hey, I hear you and feel your pain.
Sorry to come across as insensitive but there are ways to cope other than calling for the Democratic President to be primaried.

7. If the prez keeps singing Kumbaya with the other side while they kick his ass...
...there WILL be a primary challenger. If not Feingold, someone else.

18. Bayh is shyster and stupid enough to believe he has the right common sense and family values
that will get him elected. And he will probably say that because those family values and common sense are Hoosier family values and common sense that he is the right choice. I wonder how many voters will get pissed off at him for suggesting that he is better than everyone else?

I bet more and more of his supporters in Indiana throughout his political life have gotten pissed off at him.

When Bayh talks most people would be more likely to want to switch channels so they don't fall asleep listening to the drone coming from his mouth.

12. "Has No Interest" Does Not = "No Way I'm Running"
Obama didn't declare his candidacy immediately either.

16. Reading even further into his comments with words that are actually there
"Democrats ran away from their support for the Recovery Act and health insurance reform, Russ Feingold didn't, he stood by those votes and President Obama's effort to do the right thing"

Appears Feingold is proud of those efforts.
