Senate Republicans Point Fingers

With Tea Party candidates in Delaware, Colorado and Nevada leaving Republicans just shy of a Senate majority, "a bloc of prominent senators and operatives said party purists like Sarah Palin and Sen. Jim DeMint (R-SC) had foolishly pushed nominees too conservative to win in politically competitive states," reports Politico.

"Movement conservatives pointed the finger right back at the establishment, accusing the National Republican Senatorial Committee of squandering millions on a California race that wasn't close at the expense of offering additional aid in places like Colorado, Nevada and Washington state... But the blame over who lost the Senate isn't just taking place within Washington. It's now the turf on which a more fundamental debate within the conservative movement is taking place. It's a familiar purity vs. pragmatism battle that has been raging since the GOP lost its majority status in the Senate."

While some infighting is natural after an election, Republicans seem awfully close to violating the Eleventh Commandment.

Eleventh Commandment=A phrase used by Ronald Reagan during his 1966 gubernatorial campaign in California, which read: “Thou shalt not speak ill of any fellow Republican.”

1. O'Donnell received $5million in campaign funds and still blames Cornyn and the NRSC for her loss....

nevermind that the folks actually living in the state found her nuttier that a bag of mixed nutz.

Rumor has it she's gearing up for 2012 run against Tom Carper. If she couldn't be Chris Coons, a political neophyte on the national stage (she didn't even come close - 17pts), I doubt she can beat Tom Carper.

this is an opportunity developing for Democrats. A Senate take over would have positioned Republicans to deliver for their states.

With Republicans in charge of the House, they're going to have to deliver. With Democrats in charge of the Senate and WH, the positives will be credited to them. If House Republicans engage in political games, the focus is isolated on them.

5. If house races had gotten the same scrutiny senate races did, dems would have
done better in the house as well.
