1. No import of Drugs From Canada / Patents extended to 12 Years (from 5) / No Cost Control on Insurers
Accomplishments are no good when many are watered-down giveaways. Anyone can pass anything if you are willing to gut it completely but keep its name intact.

4. That site is so lame
"Expansion of Medicaid to all individuals under age 65 with incomes up to 133 percent of the federal poverty level."

In the state where I live, you have to be on disability to get Medicaid, even if your income level is that low. I know, because I applied for it and I was turned down. My state isn't alone in this requirement, either.

"Lifted restrictions granting Cuban Americans unrestricted rights to visit family and send remittances to the island."

How about granting American Americans the right to have their jobs brought back from overseas? As in, at least making a pretense of getting something done, instead of hopping over to South Korea to talk about "free trade" with them?

"Increased funding for national parks and forests by 10%."

Compared to increasing funding for the illegal wars by WHAT percent...?

"Significantly expanded Pell grants, which help low-income students pay for college."

When they graduate, they'll find that the jobs have all been shipped off to China and India. Time to don the polyester and ask, "Do you want fries with that?"

"Provided $12.2 Billion in new funding for Individuals With Disabilities Education Act."

Again...where are the jobs?

"Provided stimulus funding to boost private sector spaceflight programs."

Translated: F--- NASA.

"Extended Benefits to same-sex partners of federal employees."

If you're GLBT and don't work for the government, that's your tough luck. And if you're in the military? Don't ask, don't tell.

"Appointed first Latina to the US Supreme Court."

I don't care about a judge's race. I care about whether he/she will support things like Roe v. Wade.

"Promoted social responsibility through creation of serve.gov, a national database of volunteer opportunities."

People would be better able to volunteer in their spare time, if they didn't spend all of it looking for a job.

"Health Care Reform Bill, preventing insurance companies from denying insurance because of a pre-existing condition."

You'll notice that nobody said this insurance is affordable. Especially when Medicaid isn't available to low-income people in all states.

I could go on, but you get the idea. On the major issues, he has failed. That's why we got our asses handed to us this week.

5. No, the reason we lost (which we didn't entirely)..
is because of people like you who look for a dark cloud behind every silver lining. Just an aside, the government is not now nor has it ever been in the business of creating jobs. The Fed and the government can try to manipulate things to encourage hiring but Pres. Obama did not create a world economy where we're being out-competed for manufacturing type jobs nor did he create the financial meltdown that he walked into when he was sworn in as president.

I would suspect you never supported him in the first place or have been living in a cave with no outside contacts and haven't noticed the opposition he's been fighting his way through for 2 years now.

7. What is lame is your attempt to diminish those accomplishments.

6. Michael Moore was talking about that site last nite on msnbc - he loves it, and was wondering why
the DNC didn't do this, without the fuck, over the last two years.

Good point!
