Yesterday, I talked about GOP psyops... here's what Dem psyops should look like

- Promote the hell out of Sarah Palin. Talk her up. There's literally nothing that could help Obama and the Democrats more in 2012 than to have Sarah Palin win the GOP nomination. NOTHING. And the added benefit is that you'll fly under their radars since most of the nutjobs love her already. Shout down anybody that expresses doubts about whether she could win. The Republican leadership already knows this, and wants to stop her. We need the tea party "grass roots", the freepers, to push her over the finish line in 2012 against the "establishment" candidates.

- Push for impeachment. Nothing will rally Democrats around Obama more than Republicans trying to impeach Obama. Just like in 1999, this will also push independents SOLIDLY toward Democrats. Independents don't want to see this kind of thing. Don't worry, Obama wouldn't actually be removed from office... this would backfire on the GOP in a major way.

- On more teaparty-ish sites, promote the GOP establishment. Express doubts about the tea party, but in a way that looks like you're pro Republican.

- On more establishment-ish sites, promote the tea party. Accuse all non-teaparty types of being "RINOs".

- Promote traditional GOP positions that are nationally unpopular ("Abolish the Dept. of Education! Stop stem-cell research! do *NOT* extend Unemployment insurance!")

Some useful thread titles:

"Sarah needs to be our nominee"

"We need to primary Olympia Snowe/Scott Brown/Susan Collins"

"Boehner better NOT take impeachment off the table!!!"

"Issa needs to hold hearings on the birth certificate. Orly Taitz is right!"

"We need to keep Michael Steele. Whatever you think of him, he got the job done." (on freeper sites)

"We need someone like Christine O'Donnell as RNC chair." (on more mainstream sites)

"Dammit, it looks like Obama is coming back in the approval ratings... why?"

Add your own....

2. Christine O'Donnell as RNC chair? Ah ...
Nobody's going to swallow that one. Whatever else Republicans admire, one is success, Even Fox don't want O'Donnell. I'd say 'Stay the course, stick with (Teflon) Steele'.

4. Push impeachment, push ridiculous time consuming investigations.
Because really, the voters mostly want the economy to be the # one issue, not side distractions. In the 90's, people disliked it and the economy was much better then.

12. That she has such a following of women amazes me...
Edited on Fri Nov-05-10 09:27 AM by nenagh
But I heard one TPer woman say that she likes Sarah's aggressive attitude..

So she is no pushover in the mind of the female TPer...

Whatever position the male TPer is thinking of :)

15. I think if we get the message out how they want to take away our social security, and give it all to
Wall Street, that alone should bring the independents back.

16. The bankster angle.
On teabagger sites, "THE RINOS ARE SELLING US OUT TO WALL STREET BY LETTING OBAMA GIVE MORE BAILOUTS!"

On establishment sites: "THE TEABAGGERS ARE HURTING US BY DEMONIZING THE BANKING INDUSTRY! THEY NEED MORE TAX CUTS TO GIVE SUPPLY-SIDE STIMULUS TO THE ECONOMY!"

This is fun!
