McConnell needs to be replaced - time to send a message to the GOP.
I'm starting to see this mentioned at other sites, and I think it's a great idea, a movement that needs to grow,

McConnell needs to step down as Minority Leader of the Senate. He just doesn't 'get it'.
The voters spoke on Tuesday, they want a government that works. The Republicans didn't get a mandate on Tuesday. While people might not like the Democratic agenda, they don't like the Republicans much better either. What Americans want is change...they voted for change in '08, and again in 2010. They want DC to end the gridlock and get things done.

Obama has said he wants to find common ground for job growth, the economy, energy.
Boner has said that he is willing to work with the President.
(just for the purpose of this argument, go along with me here)

But Mitch McConnell is running his mouth and saying that his main goal is to defeat Obama and over turn everything that we have accomplished over the last 2 years.
That's not what America wants. He wants to put everything on hold until they get a Republican in the White House. America can't afford this right now, our economy is a mess; other countries are surpassing us in education and productivity. We want a Congress that works, not one that is in complete gridlock.

Please call your Republican Senators, email them, put the pressure on them and tell them Mitch McConnell needs to be replaced! We need to let them know that we are not going to put up with their bullshit - that they are in Congress to work for us, to move this country forward. McConnell wants to stop progress.

1. I can't very well write to my Repug senator, as he needs to go as well.
How do you tell someone who shouldn't have won to oust McConnell? I agree, it would be wonderful not to look at that turkey face any longer or hear his grating voice, but Grassley ain't the one to complain to.

Just sayin'.

14. Better to write a Republican senator than a Dem
It could create at least a tiny stir in their brain. Democrats have nothing to say about who the minority leader is.

5. How UNPATRIOTIC UNAMERICAN can a person be?? ESP in his senior position..?
His comments reflect BULLYNESS...our way or its gridlock....never mind there is no advancing the Nation..

He is the Michele Bachmann of The Senate....Fluff and Bluff

His line of thinking is old and outmoded...like an ole General that keeps sending troops up a hill through heavy fire 6 hours before the TRUCE sets in....needless deaths and wounded for NOTHING.

He will go down in HISTORY AS A FAIL

6. He is putting politics first instead of the needs of our country and it's citizens.
We cannot let him stay in his leadership position.

16. Every republican in the senate is the same now. They will not work with the president. Boehner in
House won't either. It's bull- they said No Compromise. They mean it.

15. No republican wants to work with the president. It's all about getting him out of office.
The other possibilities are just as bad, DeMint, Coburn, Kyl, Vitter,.....

7. You know I hate McConnell, but be careful what you wish for
One person who wants to be Majority leader is DeMint. He is genuinely worse - hard as that is to believe.

11. Turtle face needs to be on tv more as does Mr. Orange Man.
Keep them on tv as much as possible. As much as I don't really particularly like Harry Reid he is not a total embarrassment. Boner and McConnell are not really that well liked by the public. Their poll #'s are not much better then Reid's or Pelosi's.
