Linda McMahon spent over $45 million to get about 450,000 votes
so, she spent $100 per vote. I think that's an even worse percentage of votes to dollar spent than Meg Whitman or Carly Fiorina.

7. True, but on a per vote basis
McMahon's spending was double that of Whitman. CT has 1/10 the population of California.

8. She kept the CT post offices busy, that's for sure
I'm a registered Democrat who votes in primaries, general elections, local elections, school budget votes, etc. However, I was getting two-three multi page glossy mailings from her each week for months.

9. That's pretty high
$10 - $20 per vote is typical in many places now.

Not that it's OK that people spend that much either.

Wouldn't it be more honest if candidates could simply walk around handing out silver dollars and cigars?

10. She could not buy a Senate seat.
According to reports here women did not warm up to her. She came across as flip, sarcastic and uncaring. LOL

I am glad she blew so much money though.
