They need to see the backlash across the board.

Sorry ANY viewing of ANY program supports MSNBC.

They have Scarborough and Pat fucking Buchanan and they pull this shit.

Not acceptable.

Nothing from MSNBC will be sitting on my DVR until they correct this.

as long as Keith is suspended our viewership is suspended. It isn't MSNBC we follow it's people like Keith.

32. How do they know if you're tuning in for the other shows? Are they watching at your windows?

If you don't have a Nielson box, they have no idea what you do.

Consider this jsut a vacation. He'll be back in a week tops.

7. Their action can't go unpunished. The fact that he is
their highest rated program (by far) is relevant to the bullshit nature of their action, but watching whatever they air in his place or ANY programming benefits them.

Fuck them. I am not one of the reactionary post kind of guys, but I'm truly pissed and not rewarding MSNBC's ratings.

8. This thing is a minor dust-up IMO.
It's not so much that Keith donated to candidates, it's that he didn't ask. That makes this more of an infraction than a full-on breech of contract, and a suspension will almost certainly satisfy all parties.

I'll be petitioning MSNBC on Keith's behalf, but I'll be supporting Rachel by continuing to watch her show.

12. A more practical solution would be to boycott whatever replaces him
Why should Ed and Rachel suffer? The ratings for Keith's hour should nose-dive.

Another thing to do would be to contact Keith's sponsors to ask them to put on some pressure. After all, they paid good money for their ads and now they are not going to get the eyeballs they paid for.

23. Your solution is better.
Boycotting Ed and Rachel creates an excuse to purge left leaning opinion from MSNBC. They'll claim liberal talk has no more ratings pull.

BOYCOTT COMCAST....

I know everyone is not as fortunate, but I have a choice where I live. I can use a dish, go Comcast or Verizon FIOS. I currently have FIOS, but was thinking of going back to Comcast to save some money. Not now. Not ever.

Lately, that has had me worried for KO, Rachel and Lawrence.

27. Unless you have a Nielsen Box it does not matter what you watch
From wiki

There are only 25,000 total American households that participate in the Nielsen daily metered system.<11> The number of U.S. television households as of 2009 is 114,500,000.<12> As a result, the total number of Nielsen homes only amounts to 0.02183% of the total American television households, meaning that 99.97817% of American households have no input at all into what is actually being watched.

28. Does no good if you don't have a Nielson box. What you SHOULD do is watch and compile a list...
...of sponsors. Then email the sponsors and cc MSNBC, letting them know that you refuse to patronize the sponsors till Keith returns. Tell 'em you're watching their commercials so you can send their names to your friends and encourage them to boycott too.

That will do something. Not watching will do nothing but deprive you if yours isn't a Nielson family.

31. I don't see how this will do anything
at all. In the first place, MSRNC viewers are pretty addicted, and won't stop tuning in. Second, how will anyone know? Third, they are not kicking him off because of ratings, but because he's an outspoken Dem whom the GE and Comcast stockholders and their paid-for teabagger Congress don't want to hear from any more.
