3. The Republicans simply do not want Nancy because she is
effective.

They want Hoyer so they can lean on him and get
things their way.

23. Your're right about Hoyer ...
and how does eric cantor know what the Democrats need when he is asking the public what to cut in the budget.

Didn't he and the republiCONS get elected because they said they already knew what they were going to cut and isn't that why some people voted for them..

4. All the more reason for Nancy to hold onto leadership.
She's obviously doing something right if Cantor's bugging out.

5. ha! they were talking about her resigning from Congress
I'm looking forward to continuing to hear Pelosi's strong voice. I hope she takes a MORE visible role than she has up til now.

6. Sound to me like
They are scared to death of Nancy! If they really thought putting her in as leader would hurt the democrats the wouldn't be saying a thing, period! Now they are doing their best to get rid of her because she will stand up to them and they don't want that, the want some spineless wimp they can push around, and Nancy isn't that person! If it makes them this worried, then we know she should be the one democrats put back as leader!

their minority leader will be.

11. Notice how Cantor's not saying the same thing about Harry Reid?
Harry's a nice fellow, and has been a good friend to all his colleagues in the 111th Congress. But, enough already, Harry. We're way past collegiality.

24. We kept our majority in the Senate.
Normally these kind of resignations from leadership follow losses of control. Besides, since Cantor works in the House with Pelosi, it's more appropriate for him or Boehner to comment on her. I doubt that someone like McConnell will say the same thing about Reid for the simple fact that he has to work with him, and according to Reid's schedule.

17. Damn I hate that arrogant prick. But you can tell they're afraid of her.
Before they would be more subtle and say we want Pelosi to stay so we can run against her. They know Nancy Pelosi won't take their shit.

32. If Cantor truly believed that keeping Pelosi would be a sign of Dems "not getting it",
wouldn't he just keep his mouth shut and watch us tie the anchor around our feet? It's back to the usual choices: stupid, dishonest, or both.
