If you haven't.. well let me tell you.

For the last year, CNBC, CNN etc. has been talking non stop about the "tepid recovery".. double dip on the horizon.

But since the republicans were elected last week.. The earth spun backwards on its axis.

This morning..it is all about the jobs just waiting to be had.. the good news story breaking in the recovery.. etc etc etc.

Building to my darlings.. that when the republican house is sworn in..in January.. on that precious day.. just like Ronald Reagan on his day of being sworn in (and the Iranians released the hostages).. all good things that are happening were due to the republicans.

The republicans.. who were never there for any of the hard work that had to be done..but they are going to take credit..and the republican backed media is going to give it to them.

4. Don't get too excited ...
... the economy is still a mess and when the real effects of the latest round of 'Quantitative Easing' kicks in, well, let's put it this way: "You ain't seen nothin' yet."

Of course, the corporate mainstream media does what it does, no surprises here.

It is still up to the Obama administration as to how the narrative is going to be spun for 2012 -- either Geithner will be fired and the banksters prosecuted and trade agreements renegotiated and the Democrats will be seen as on the side of regular Americans instead of Wall Street -- or the Teabaggers and Repuglicans will have an open field to finish their takeover.

5. Someone once told me.. Perception is 90% of Reality..
I am beginning to believe that.. people will react on what they perceive not what is real..

8. Interesting point.
'Perception is reality' is another way of saying 'faith-based reality'.

In the end, however, despite perception, actual reality will prevail one way or another. In this case, the question may be more about will Pres. Obama and the Democrats be boldly progressive and make reality and perception align.

And, my prediction is that if they don't, then the perception that "it's all Obama's fault" will take hold and 2012 will be worse than this year's elections.

7. If they govern as they campaigned, we are in for a world of hurt.
The government is to be taken out of the recovery equation (unless we're talking tax cuts). It's a formula for our continued national decline.

Of course, they don't ever govern as they spew. They do cut taxes, but government spending balloons. Earmarks proliferate. I know this, because I pay attention. Our deficit will spiral until hell won't have it any more. Then our children will pick up the shrapnel and wonder whatever became of the world superpower that used to be us.

9. It's a shame, but it's going to happen. All Obama's hard work will come to light over the next
year.

11. A massive hiring surge from big business
would not surprise me. They are sitting on tons of cash, and hiring middle class types could only make the Republican House look better.
