http://www.newsmeat.com/fec/bystate_detail.php?st=PA&last=Snider&first=Edward

NRSC - $2600
NRCC - $5000
Eric Cantor - $2400
John McCain - $25000 (For McCain Victory 2008)
David Dreier - $500
Pat Roberts - $1000
Frank Wolf - $1000

He supported a few democrats like Arlen Specter but technically Arlen was republican thru 2009.

2. I know. Remember when he had Sarah Palin come out to Center Ice back in 2008
She was booed pretty badly.

Gotta love Philly fans!

3. That was awesome. Made me proud to be from Philly!
Palin said she wanted the Rangers to win that game too. Because Scott Gomez, who was on the Rangers, was from AK. At Least Jeff Lurie isn't as bad. He made sure that the Linc is a Green stadium. One of the few like it in the country.

4. Snider isn't CEO of Comcast. Can we stop repeating that falsehood around here?
Snider is the CEO of a relatively small company (in the larger scheme of things) in which Comcast has purchased a 60 percent share. Snider isn't an officer of Comcast or on its board or even a major investor. He's an executive in one of the dozens of companies in which Comcast has an equity stake. Don't believe me? Check out Comcast's annual reports and SEC filings.

Comcast's Chairman and CEO is Brian Roberts. During the last election cycle, Brian Roberts gave around $40K to Democratic candidate and Democratic party organizations and not one single dime to repub candidates or party organizations. Going back over the past 15-20 years, Roberts has donated around $350,000 to candidates, party organizations, and PACs. A substantial majority of that money has gone to Democratic candidates and their party organizations. You can look it up at opensecrets.org if you don't believe me.

There are many reasons to be concerned about Comcast/NBCU merger. But those reasons should be based on facts, not made up smears aimed at executives who actually are major Democratic party fundraisers.
