When we find a great article, here or elsewhere, that explains reality as we know it, we should take it to the rest of the country and share it. I don't mean once every now and again...I mean daily.

Rather than talking among ourselves only, our work should serve as a gear to turn the larger wheel of public thought. Otherwise we are locking our good ideas in a different kind of ivory tower, and the silo mentality is not helping us.

There are a lot of people in this country who are never exposed to liberal thinking. I feel our job should be to change that, and I think that action taken by this group, with consistency and cooperation, will make a big difference to the outcome in 2012.

I for one do not want a repeat of last Tuesday's experience on a larger scale.* The damage that would result can be prevented. No need to talk about it, really, just after you k and r something, go post it in the purple and red states' widely read boards. You know what they are. It's not too late if we start now and work together.
