and now it will be a 2-hour MSNBC-free zone.

Right now it undoubtedly pays better to be on TV and may be more influential, too. But the writing is on the wall, the Internet is becoming more and more central to how people gather information, and TYT has been on the forefront of that, and I'd hate to see Cenk give it all up for TV. It would be a bad move in the long run, IMO.

Cenk is great. So glad he got this slot. Obviously he has the courage to say what many people don't want to hear.

14. Surprised about the Cenk bashing on DU. He's one of the most discriminating politics commentators

and a web video politics show pioneer (20 million views/month October).

I think he makes a few wrong calls sometimes* but mostly he's ringing the right bells at a rate the MSNBC stars probably envy.

I don't like the entertainment section of his show that much but the politics part is filling a big need.

He does give Obama credit and seems to personally like him but tends to error on the side of strong criticism and cynicism (this is a big sin? especially *after* an election where the PTB must be trying to set Obama's interpretations of the election results?).

He's better in the 3pm slot than filling in for others I think where he can do a more TYT-style show.

I am disappoint (sic) and a little worried recently to see the non-substantive criticism of his comments here (n/t bashings).
