Matt Lauer’s Primetime George W. Bush Interview Places NBC Fourth in Timeslot
On Monday, during the 8-9 PM time period where the Bush interview aired, ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars” won the hour with nearly 19 million viewers, while new editions of CBS comedies drew 8.8 million viewers and “House” on Fox drew 9.6 million viewers.

The Bush interview also drew lower demo numbers than the program that normally airs in that time period on NBC, “Chuck.”

hearing him try to talk in complete sentences! David Letterman tells a joke about Bush's book nightly, usually something like, "Bush's book Decision Points is now for sale. I've made a decision not to read it," or, "Bush's book Decision Points is now in book stores. You can use it to step on to reach a BETTER book." :D

4. Reminds me of when Bush gave Deal or No Deal one of it's lowest rated episodes ever
Reading this reminds me of other times there's been evidence that Americans aren't listening to Bush and don't like him. I remember that time Deal or No Deal was advertising president Bush being on an episode when some military guy was on the show. I later heard on late night comedy that it was one of Deal or No Deal's worst rated episodes ever. What was even more ironic though is that Bush was only in a very brief part of that episode, no more then a minute or two, but that didn't matter after the previews focused on just that small part of the episode.

5. Actually, it's not good
America just doesn't give a shit about chimpy anymore. They'd just as soon forget about him and his legacy of destruction. They won't stomach prosecuting him and they've already proven that he's no longer a liability to the republican party anymore. Face it, he got away with EVERYTHING. And now those same jackasses are going to buy his book, and still not give a shit. That's just adding insult to injury. :grr:

9. I wonder if the numbers started dropping during the show?
And if so when. Was it after Bush said "Read the book" the second time, third time, fourth time?

11. I purposefully waited until 9:00pm to turn to NBC so I could watch The Event.
I didn't want to see one second of Chimpy Bush on my TV screen.
