1. I Am Ecstatic
Palin tried to take out Lisa Murkowski out of some personal pique by endorsing her primary opponent and failed miserably.

2. IF the numbers hold up Murkowski should beat him by about 800 votes.
Provided there aren't a huge number of other write-ins.

3. Why would someone write in Joe Miller??
His name was on the ballot. it seems kind of silly to write his name there

5. Because Joe Miller Was Sarah Palin's Handpicked Candidate
Is that enough?

Sarah Palin chose Joe Miller to "take out" Lisa Murkowski out of some personal pique with the Murkokski family and failed. I am fucking ecstatic. It was one of the more gratifying results in an otherwise dismal election.

7. The Democrat, who we wanted to win, is clearly and totally out of contention
It is down to an extreme RWinger whose beliefs are way out of the mainsteam and who has major character issues.

6. If these are representative of the total population, she will win on the undisputed ballots
17134 /19203 * 92979 = 82 961

It also seems that the additional, disputed votes for her were clearly for her or they would not be identified that way. Denying a person their vote because he/she is not a good speller seems unAmerican.
