Ted Turner started CNN in 1980. If he could pull it off then, why can't we have our own progressive network, or at least one that reports the truth? Surely there's enough collective money on the Left to at least try. Maybe rich liberals just don't have the passion the Right has.
Maybe someday....

As long as it's makes them money. They might not like Olbermann, but they know getting rid of him would be like killing the goose that lays the golden eggs.

I'm sure lots of people here would also be willing to invest in a startup 24/7 news channel if some liberal was trying to start such a company to counter Fox News.
