Willie Sutton was asked, "Why do you rob banks?"
He said, "Because that is where the money is."

Too bad the Debt Commission does not follow the Willie Sutton rule when looking for ways to cut the deficit. Otherwise, they would be looking at "where the money is".

The debt and deficit were mainly created by the Bush taxcuts and defense spending, especially two wars that were unpaid for.

One would think that would be the two items on the top of any debt commission's agenda? But, no.

They want to attack and cut everything but those two items. They want the middle and working class to feel pain for all their pleasure of the last 10 years.

They are totally incredible. Their report should be tossed in the nearest waste can. They are worthless.
