Plouffe to Replace Axelrod in White House
President Obama's top adviser, David Axelrod, will likely be replaced by campaign strategist David Plouffe when he leaves the White House early next year.

Axelrod tells National Journal that "he still plans on leaving Washington in the spring to head back to Chicago to work on the president's reelection campaign, and he expects Plouffe -- who was a key member of Obama's presidential campaign -- to step in to the White House soon."

the President opined about not realizing how different it would be to govern rather than campaign. This is a return to his comfort zone.

Therein lies the problem. Governing is NOT campaigning, which seems to have been what Obama has done for years. He was always on campaign mode in pursuit of climbing the political ladder at lightning speed. I resent that we are the guinea pigs through which he is finally garnering some executive experience.

17. I have never hidden the fact he was never my Primary choice. So what? He also wasn't the Primary

of a whole heck of a lot of Democrats. We had quite a crowed field! We all voted for him in the General though and that is what counts. He was elected.I am not sure what you are thinking "shows".

Plouffe didn't want to spend 4 years in DC, he said that right out. Both excel at what they do, we'll be in good hands.

Cabinet secretaries aren't "staff". Neither are VP's although lately they've been used this way alot. Staff doesn't go through Senate confirmation processes. They just tend to be the adoring crowd.

I saw the movie "Unstoppable" this weekend, about a runaway train heading towards heavily populated Stanton PA, and during one part of the movie, where a Fox news copter is getting all up in the way of a serious rescue segment, I looked at my husband and said......"In real life, they'd be blaming this shit on Obama".....
Sad to say, but that would be so.
